There are three kinds of PTFE rods. Pressed rod with diameter from 2mm-4mm is manufactured by paste extruding method; Rods with diameter from 5mm to 120mm are made from PTFE suspend resin by ram extruding method; and others diameter between 50mm to 300mm are manufactured by moulding.

PTFE has the best abilities of chemical resistance and dielectric in all known plastics. It is non-aging, non-stick. It can be used from -180°C- +260°C under no burthen circumstances. It also has the lowest friction coefficient of all known solid materials.
